Scott Hollingsworth is a Vice President in the Chicago office of The Kenrich Group LLC. He specializes in the investigation and resolution of business disputes, primarily related to the construction industry. Scott has consulted on behalf of construction contractors, project owners, insurance companies, and government contractors. He has consulted on a variety of projects including, for example schools, police stations, high-rise hotel and condominium developments, power plants, waste remediation facilities, highways, rail lines, mining facilities and military vehicles.
Scott has led teams analyzing critical path method schedules to determine causes and durations of project delays. He has also led financial analyses to quantify project cost growth including those related to delay, disruption, acceleration, and productivity. Scott has performed forensic investigations of construction costs incurred including review and analysis of invoices, payment applications, bank records, and other documentation to verify work performed and to determine percent complete at various points in time on a project.
Scott has testified as an expert in arbitration and court proceedings and has presented schedule delay and damage analysis during settlement negotiations. Scott also has project controls experience related to the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets. He has assisted contractors and owners with project controls on a variety of projects including a high-rise hotel, a light rail project, a luxury resort, and a hospital renovation.
