The Washington, D.C. office hosted a NCAA Tournament Party and Open House to exhibit the new office space. Guests from the D.C. area were invited to stop by and watch some of the games, tour the office, and interact with each of the consultants. Games were televised throughout the office and small prizes were given to guests who picked the winning teams.

Chris Beirise and Mark Gentry walked through AACEi’s Recommended Practice 29R-03 – Forensic Schedule Analysis and discussed key passages as they relate to forensic schedule analysis. The Recommended Practice was published in June 2007 and was intended to be a unifying document regarding analyzing schedule delays. The document has spurred many debates and articles critical of the practices. Attendees also learned about the Recommended Practice and its relevance to construction litigators and their clients.
