We are seeking candidates for a Senior Consultant position in our Washington, DC office. Responsibilities will include fact-finding, research, document review, and extensive financial analyses and computer modeling.  Specific analyses will include calculation of economic damages, evaluation of claims related to business and regulatory disputes, and regulatory compliance reviews.  Candidates will assist with the preparation and review of damage claims and counter claims related to business and government contract disputes, including those involved in litigation or mediation. Candidates may also assist in the preparation of expert reports, expert testimony and exhibits for trial, alternative dispute resolution or settlement negotiations. Most importantly, candidates will work on maintaining and fostering client relationships through superior client service. Candidates should be willing to travel to client locations or other Kenrich offices and work overtime, as required.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or a Masters of Accounting, and must have earned a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. Candidates should have 1-4 years of experience in consulting, accounting, forensic accounting, or litigation support. Applicants must be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, oral and written communication, quality control and computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access is essential; knowledge of SQL is preferred.  Experience in government contracts, including familiarity with the FAR, CAS, and DCAA practices is preferred. Certifications such as CPA, CFE or CMA are a plus.
