ICC Arbitration Panel Awards Contractor Only 20% of its Claim

October 2017

Kenrich was retained by counsel on behalf of the owner of an oil refinery in South America to rebut claims in excess of $50 million brought by the civil contractor.  The claims for increased costs related to purported delay and disruption caused by late design information during the refinery expansion project.  Kenrich authored two-200 plus page reports and testified on schedule delay and damages issues at the ICC arbitration proceedings.  The tribunal awarded the civil contractor only $10.8 million of its $50 million claim, not including prejudgment interest.

Kenrich Co-CEO Rich Sieracki and Chris Beirise, Kenrich COO, testified and led our team of Kenrich consultants.
